I’ve had to keep this news under wraps for a while, so I’m thrilled to finally share it with you! This spring, I was invited to develop courses for LinkedIn Learning. Given it’s the top online learning platform that reaches millions of people at enterprises and universities around the world, I was beyond honored. I created and filmed these courses over the summer, drawing on the most effective material from The Content Advantage and Content Science Academy.

Though developing these courses has been a tremendous amount of work, I couldn’t be happier with the result. And I think you and your colleagues will be, too.

The first course, Introduction to Content Marketingis available on LinkedIn Learning this month. More than 30 videos complete with useful facts, techniques, examples, and animated illustrations are ready and waiting for you. Here’s a sample.

And more courses will roll out this fall, including Advanced Content Marketing and Content Marketing on Social Media.

I’m passionate about content training because business today is digital, and content is critical to success in every business function, marketing included. Training empowers everyone from content pros developing new skills to leaders starting to see the importance of content. And our research finds content-specific training is a huge success factor for content leaders and teams

If you have a paid account with LinkedIn or your employer subscribes to LinkedIn Learning, chances are you can access these courses at no additional cost. Love that. If not, a LinkedIn Learning subscription is a reasonable $29.99 per month. Of course, that includes access to all courses, not just this one.

We also added several of the videos to certifications over at Content Science Academy. These videos enhance the in-depth material and assignments.

I’m thrilled to take content training to the next level in partnership with LinkedIn Learning. And I can’t wait to hear what you think.
